Force Majeure
Travel Agent cannot accept responsibility or pay compensation when the performance, or timely performance, of the reservation contract is prevented or affected by circumstances amounting to force majeure.
Force majeure refers to any event that could not have been foreseen or avoided, even with all due care. Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to: fire, flood, explosion, storm or other extreme weather conditions, criminal damage, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, natural or nuclear disaster, war or threat of war, actual or threatened terrorist activity, epidemic, or any other situation beyond our control.
It is expressly agreed that the occurrence of a force majeure event suspends the execution of reciprocal obligations between both parties. Each party shall bear the expenses resulting from such circumstances on a 50:50 basis. However, travellers will be solely responsible for any additional costs incurred due to changes in the trip that result from a force majeure event.
